Originally created by a cuban national, Orestes Sanchez Abascal, who grew up in the U.S. before finally settling in Guatemala, this work of art requires patiences, skill and much love and care.
Beginning with combining the dry ingredients and placing them into a sack, the ceramic clay is then left to sit, untouched, for 8 years. Once the 8 years have been reached, the process begins to pave way for creativity, where each piece of jewelry is hand molded with extreme delicacy, creating what we see today; a beautiful, vibrant piece of art.
To this day, there is only one man who holds the knowledge and experience to continue the legacy started by Orestes Sanchez Abascal.
